Since the beginning of 2018/19 MY (July 1), and as of May 10, Ukraine supplied over 43.5 mln tonnes of grains and pulses on foreign markets, an increase of 8.66 mln tonnes compared with the same period last MY, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
In particular, Ukraine exported 14.4 mln tonnes of wheat (down 19%), 3.4 mln tonnes of barley (down 12%), and 88.2 thsd tonnes of rye. At the same time, Ukraine exported 24.9 mln tonnes of corn, up 29%.
In addition, since the beginning of the current season Ukraine exported 251 thsd tonnes of flour (down 138.1 thsd tonnes), including 250 thsd tonnes of wheat flour (down 137.7 thsd tonnes).
