As of July 9, Russian agrarians harvested grains and pulses throughout the areas of 6.9 mln ha (in 2018 — 5.2 mln ha). The production volumes reached 26.6 mln tonnes of grains (in 2018 — 19.8 mln tonnes), with the average yield of 38.3 t/ha (in 2018 — 3.79 t/ha), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
In particular, agrarians harvested 23.1 mln tonnes of wheat (in 2018 — 17.5 mln tonnes) throughout 6 mln ha (in 2018 — 4.5 mln ha), with the yield of 3.87 t/ha (in 2018 — 3.91 t/ha).
Also, Russia harvested 3 mln tonnes of barley (in 2018 — 2 mln tonnes) throughout 761.5 thsd ha (in 2018 — 537.8 thsd ha), with the yield of 3.88 t/ha (in 2018 — 3.63 t/ha).
