In 2019/20 MY, Russia to export nearly 40 mln tonnes of wheat — RGU

In 2019/20 MY, Russia can supply nearly 37-38 mln tonnes of wheat on foreign markets, declared the President at the Russian Grain Union (RGU), Arkadiy Zlochevskiy on July 16.

At the same time, the expert was sure that the figures will even reach 40 mln tonnes, depending on the shipment rates. The initial forecast of the RGU on wheat exports at the level of 45 mln tonnes reduced, due to the adverse weather conditions.

To date, the RGU estimated the general export volumes of Russian grain crops in 2019/20 MY at 46-47 mln tonnes.
