In January-June of 2019, the general production volumes of crude sunflower oil and its fractions in Russia totaled 2.7 mln tonnes, up 12.1% compared with the figures in the same period last year, reported the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) on July 16.
At the same time, the production of wheat and wheat-rye flour types in Russia decreased by 0.5% compared with the same period last season, and totaled 4.1 mln tonnes. Also, in the first half year of 2019 Russia reduced the production of margarines by 7.3% — to 212 thsd tonnes.
