As of July 17, Ukrainian agrarians already harvested grains and pulses throughout the areas of 5.6 mln ha, or 58% of the forecast, and produced 19.7 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, Ukraine harvested wheat throughout the areas of 3.7 mln ha (57% of the forecast), and produced 13.8 mln tonnes of the grain, with the yield of 3.67 t/ha. At the same time, barley areas totaled 1.6 mln ha (65%), with the harvest at 5.3 mln tonnes, and the average yield — 3.23 t/ha.
Also, Ukrainian agrarians started harvesting rye. As of the reporting date, the harvested areas reached 8 thsd ha (7%). The production volumes totaled 20 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 2.52 t/ha. In addition, agrarians harvested 7 thsd tonnes of oats throughout 3 thsd ha (2%), with the yield of 2.21 t/ha.
Ukraine harvested peas throughout almost four fifth of the planned areas: 232 thsd ha (82%), and the production volumes totaled more than 0.5 mln tonnes.
The production volumes of winter rapeseed totaled 2.2 mln tonnes. The oilseed harvested areas totaled 952 thsd ha (74%), and its average yield — 2.33 t/ha.
