For the first seven months of 2019, Russia imported 542.7 thsd tonnes of palm oil at the general sum of 340.5 mln USD. At the same time, the supplies decreased by 1.5% compared with the same period in 2018 on weight basis, and down 17.4% in monetary terms, declared the Federal Customs Service of Russia on September 10.

Also, in the reporting period, the country imported almost 1.21 mln tonnes of soybeans at the sum of 470.4 mln USD, down 7.2% on weight basis, and down 19.7% in monetary terms.

As for grain crops, in January-July of 2019 Russia imported 114.8 thsd tonnes of wheat and meslin at 27.1 mln USD, as well as 27.2 thsd tonnes of corn at 93.5 mln USD, and 4.2 thsd tonnes of barley at 1.6 mln USD.
