Since the beginning of 2019/20 MY (July 1), and as of September 11, Ukraine already supplied 10.348 mln tonnes of grains and pulses on foreign markets, an increase of 3.578 mln tonnes compared with the same date last season, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
In particular, the export volumes of wheat totaled 6.156 mln tonnes, up 2.515 mln tonnes compared with the last year results. The supplies of barley on foreign markets reached 2.303 mln tonnes (up 643 thsd tonnes), and rye — 1.9 thsd tonnes (down 25.4 thsd tonnes). Also, the shipments of corn totaled 1.867 mln tonnes, up 544 thsd tonnes compared with the figures in the season-2018/19.
In addition, since the beginning of the current season Ukraine exported 57.3 thsd tonnes of flour (up 19.6 thsd tonnes).
