In July 2019, Kazakhstan exported the minimum volumes of soybeans since the beginning of 2018/19 MY (September 1, 2018) — slightly over 520 tonnes, down 3 times compared with June 2019, and down 8 times compared with May 2019, reported the Statistics Committee at the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At the same time, in the reporting month Uzbekistan purchased the whole supplied volumes. For 11 months of the season, Uzbekistan took the second position in the rating of the major countries-importers of Kazakh soybeans, with the share of almost 30%.

Generally, in September-July of 2018/19 MY Kazakhstan exported nearly 30 thsd tonnes of soybeans, down 6% compared with the same period of the previous season, due to the deficit of positive dynamics in the production of the oilseed since 2017. Also, in the reporting season China purchased almost half of soybean supplies from Kazakhstan.
