As of September 19, Belarusian agrarians harvested grains and pulses (including corn) throughout the areas of 2.12 mln ha, or 91.3% of the plan (2.323 mln ha). The production volumes reached 6.653 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield at 3.14 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus.
In particular, agrarians harvested corn for grain throughout 14.8 thsd ha, or 6.75% of the planned area (219.1 thsd ha). The production reached 104.2 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 7.05 t/ha.
Also, the country reached the final stages of the harvesting campaign of rapeseed. Agrarians harvested the oilseed throughout 325.6 thsd ha, or 95.6% of the plan (340.6 thsd ha). The production volumes reached 671.4 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 2.06 t/ha.
In addition, agrarians harvested 903.5 thsd tonnes of sugar beet throughout 20 thsd ha (21.3%), with the yield of 45.15 t/ha.
As of the reporting date, agrarians planted winter grains throughout 666.3 thsd ha, or 49.3% of the plan (1.352 mln ha).
