In the current season, Russia will continue increasing the exports of vegetable oils, and reduce the imports, reported the Head of the Department of raw materials market analysis at Rusagro Group, Vladimir Zhylin, during his report within frames of the III international conference "KazOil 2019" in Nur-Sultan, on November 5.

According to the expert expectations, in 2019/20 MY Russia will ship 4.403 mln tonnes of vegetable oils on foreign markets, against 3.815 mln tonnes last season, while the purchases of the products by Russia will total 1.115 mln tonnes (1.143 mln tonnes in the season-2018/19).

In particular, V.Zhylin specified that sunflower oil shipments from Russia will increase to 3.24 mln tonnes (2.65 mln tonnes in the previous MY). In addition, the exports of rapeseed oil will total 597 thsd tonnes (596 thsd tonnes), soybean oil — 565 thsd tonnes (566 thsd tonnes), palm and coconut oil — 20 thsd tonnes (19 thsd tonnes).
