As of November 8, Belarusian agrarians harvested corn for grain throughout the areas of 178.7 thsd ha, or 97.9% of the plan (182.5 thsd ha), reported the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus.
As of the reporting date, the production volumes of corn totaled 1.354 mln tonnes, with the average yield of 7.58 t/ha.
In particular, Grodno (1.2%), Gomel (2.4%), and Mogilev oblasts (9.4%) still had the unharvested areas under the grain.
As a reminder, previously the officials planned to complete the autumn harvesting campaign of agricultural crops in the country until November 7.
