As of November 1, 2019, the registered carry-over stocks of grains and pulses in Kazakhstan totaled nearly 15.6 mln tonnes. In particular, agricultural organizations stored 5.92 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Statistics Committee at the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As a reminder, in the previous month the reporting figures in Kazakhstan totaled 12.655 mln tonnes.
Wheat formed the major share of the general grain stocks — 11.34 mln tonnes, including 9.33 mln tonnes of milling wheat, 900 thsd tonnes of feed wheat, and 1.02 mln tonnes of wheat for seeds.
Also, barley stocks totaled 2.835 mln tonnes, rye — 20.87 thsd tonnes, oats — 283.3 thsd tonnes, corn — 320.28 thsd tonnes, rice — 451.8 thsd tonnes, buckwheat — 51.8 thsd tonnes, and millet — 24.77 thsd tonnes.
