According to regional divisions of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), since the beginning of the season-2019/20 (July 1), and as of November 12, Russia already exported 17.2 mln tonnes of wheat (including movements to the territory of the Customs Union countries), down 12% compared with the same period last season, reported the Federal State-Funded Institution "Federal Centre of Quality and Safety Assurance for Grain and Grain products" on November 14.

Also, in the reporting period Russia exported 1.8 mln tonnes of barley (down 26% compared with the same period of 2018/19 MY), 901 thsd tonnes of corn (up 21%), 260 thsd tonnes of peas (down 21%), and 220 thsd tonnes of wheat bran (down 8%).

In addition, Russia demonstrated the high shipment rates of oilseeds and its by-products. Thus, since the beginning of the season the exports of soybeans increased by 75% — to 403 thsd tonnes, sunflower seed — up 7 times, to 189 thsd tonnes, flaxseed — up 50%, to 206 thsd tonnes, and sunflower meal — up 72%, to 424 thsd tonnes. At the same time, the exports of rapeseed decreased by 25% compared with the last year level — to 171 thsd tonnes.

Generally, in the reporting period Russia supplied 22.8 mln tonnes of grains, oilseeds and its by-products on foreign markets, down 9% (or 2.2 mln tonnes) compared with the same period last season.

Russia shipped the reporting goods to 127 countries, as opposed to 130 countries as of November 12, 2018.
