According to regional divisions of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), since the beginning of the season-2019/20 (July 1), and as of November 26, Russia already exported 18.4 mln tonnes of wheat (including movements to the territory of the Customs Union countries), down 11% compared with the same period last season, reported the Federal State-Funded Institution "Federal Centre of Quality and Safety Assurance for Grain and Grain products", on November 29.

Also, in the reporting period Russia exported 1.9 mln tonnes of barley (down 29% compared with the same period in 2018/19 MY), 1.1 mln tonnes of corn (up 30%), 285 thsd tonnes of peas (down 21%), 209 thsd tonnes of chickpeas (up 3 times), and 245 thsd tonnes of wheat bran (down 10%).

In addition, Russia demonstrated the high shipment rates of oilseeds and its by-products. Thus, since the beginning of the season the exports of soybeans increased by 62% — to 443 thsd tonnes, sunflower seed — up 6 times, to 239 thsd tonnes, flaxseed — up 60%, to 252 thsd tonnes, and sunflower meal — up 53%, to 491 thsd tonnes.

Generally, in the reporting period Russia supplied 24.8 mln tonnes of grains, oilseeds and its by-products on foreign markets, down 8% (or 2.1 mln tonnes) compared with the same period last season.

Russia shipped the reporting goods to 129 countries, as opposed to 130 countries as of November 26, 2018.
