Since the beginning of the season-2019/20, and as of January 9, Ukraine already supplied nearly 5 mln tonnes of oilseeds on foreign markets, an increase of 1.8 mln tonnes compared with the same period last season, reported the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection (SSUFSCP).
Generally, in the reporting period of 2019/20 MY Ukraine exported more than 31.7 mln tonnes of grain crops, up 6.9 mln tonnes compared with the same period of 2018/19 MY.
In particular, the shipment volumes of wheat totaled 15 mln tonnes (up 4.2 mln tonnes), including over 11.7 mln tonnes of milling wheat (up 5 mln tonnes), and over 3.2 mln tonnes of feed wheat (down 0.9 mln tonnes). At the same time, the supplies of barley reached 3.6 mln tonnes (up 0.6 mln tonnes). Also, in the reporting period Ukraine exported 12.8 mln tonnes of corn, up 2.4 mln tonnes compared with the same period in 2018/19 MY.
