M.Mishustin became the Prime Minister of Russia

On January 16, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin signed the Executive Order appointing Mikhail Mishustin as the Prime Minister, reported the press-service of the Head of the state.

Previously, the State Duma, the lower house of parliament, gave its backing to the reporting appointment. 383 deputies voted "for" his nomination. Nobody voted against him, there were 41 abstentions.

For almost 10 years, M.Mishustin headed the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation. He replaced Dmitry Medvedev, after his abrupt resignation on January 15.

As for the personal composition of the new government, the new Prime Minister stressed that it will completely form in the coming days.
