Russia: in 2019, NCSP Group increased the transshipment of vegetable oils

In 2019, the shipment volumes of vegetable oils by enterprises of PJSC Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port (NCSP Group) totaled 364 thsd tonnes, an increase of 33.9% compared with the previous year (272 thsd tonnes), declared the press-service of the company, on January 25.

In the reporting year, the terminal for transshipment of vegetable oils at the Open Joint-Stock Company IPP (launched in November 2018) already shipped 351 thsd tonnes of vegetable oils.

Also, in 2019 the transshipment of liquid fertilizers (UAN — urea ammonium nitrate) decreased by 4.4% only compared with the previous year — to 762 thsd tonnes.

At the same time, the shipments of chemical cargoes (including mineral fertilizers) increased by 24.6% — from 582 thsd tonnes, to 724 thsd tonnes.

The Group operates two large-scale Russian ports — Port of Novorossiysk on the Black Sea coast, and Port of Primorsk on the Baltic Sea, as well as Port of Baltiysk in Kaliningrad oblast.
