According to regional divisions of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), since the beginning of the season-2019/20 (July 1), and as of February 11, Russia already exported 24.4 mln tonnes of wheat (including deliveries to the territory of the Customs Union countries), down 14% compared with the same period last season, reported the Federal State-Funded Institution "Federal Centre of Quality and Safety Assurance for Grain and Grain products", on February 14.

Also, in the reporting period Russia exported 2.8 mln tonnes of barley (down 22% compared with the same period of 2018/19 MY), 2.1 mln tonnes of corn (up 32%), 376 thsd tonnes of peas (down 26%), and 422 thsd tonnes of wheat bran (down 6%).

In addition, Russia demonstrated the high shipment rates of oilseeds and its by-products. Thus, since the beginning of the season the exports of soybeans increased by 60% — to 804 thsd tonnes, sunflower seed — up 7 times, to 779 thsd tonnes, flaxseed — up 32%, to 395 thsd tonnes, and sunflower meal — up 38%, to 972 thsd tonnes. At the same time, the shipments of rapeseed decreased by 21% — to 329 thsd tonnes.

Generally, in the reporting period Russia supplied 35.3 mln tonnes of grains, oilseeds and its by-products on foreign markets, down 8% (or 3 mln tonnes) compared with the same period last season.

Russia shipped the reporting goods to 131 countries, which almost matched the same figures as of February 11, 2019 (132 countries).
