According to APK-Inform monitoring figures received after the recent polling of agricultural producers, in agricultural households of Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Kyiv and Kirovohrad oblasts there were observed the losses of winter rapeseed areas.
Many agrarians of the reporting oblasts informed about the losses within the range of 15-100%, depending on the oblast. According to respondents, poor germination ability of the oilseed and the recent autumn drought became the main reasons for such situation development.
As a reminder, in Ukraine the planted areas under winter rapeseed for the harvest-2020 totaled almost 1.3 mln ha.
