Russia: in January 2020, NCSP lowered the transshipment of vegetable oils

In January 2020, the shipment volumes of vegetable oils by enterprises of PJSC Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port (NCSP Group) totaled 20.34 thsd tonnes, a decrease of 7% compared with the same month last year (21.88 thsd tonnes), declared the press-service of the company.

Also, for the first month of 2020 the transshipment of liquid fertilizers (UAN — urea ammonium nitrate) significantly decreased — down 36.8% compared with the same month last year — to 45 thsd tonnes.

At the same time, in January 2020 the transshipment of sugar lowered in over 9 times — to 4.6 thsd tonnes, against 53.1 thsd tonnes in January 2019. But the shipments of chemical cargoes (including mineral fertilizers) increased by 61.6% — to 102 thsd tonnes.

The Group operates two of the largest Russian ports — Port of Novorossiysk on the Black Sea coast, and Port of Primorsk on the Baltic Sea, as well as Port of Baltiysk in Kaliningrad oblast.
