As of April 3, Belarusian agrarians planted early grains and pulses throughout the areas of 406.5 thsd ha, or 46.9% of the plan (866.6 thsd ha), declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus.
In particular, Gomel oblast demonstrated the best results among all regions of the country and planted early grains and pulses throughout 100.9 thsd ha (100%). Also, Brest oblast almost completed the planting works — 105 thsd ha (95.4%).
In addition, Grodno oblast planted early grain crops throughout 74.3 thsd ha (61.3%), Minsk oblast — 72.8 thsd ha (43.1%), Mogilev oblast — 41.6 thsd ha (36.7%), and Vitebsk oblast — 12 thsd ha (4.75%).
