Ukraine: Ministry for Development of Economy to impose limitations on corn exports




The Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine worked out the Appendix #2 to the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry for Development of Economy and participants of the grain market, which proposed to impose limitations of the export shipments of Ukrainian corn in the current MY. APK-Inform Agency already got acquainted with the reporting document.

The maximum limit volumes of corn exports will total no more than 29.3 mln tonnes. The authorities will consider the maximum export volumes of corn of the harvest-2019 after the end of 2019/20 MY (after June 30, 2020).

It is stressed that it is about the grain volumes of the harvest-2019, which traders can export in the season-2019/20 (from July 1, 2019, to June 30, 2020) and in 2020/21 MY (from July 1, 2020, to August 31, 2020).
