Ukraine not to impose the quantitative restrictions on corn exports — Ministry for Development of Economy




In the near future, the Ukrainian authorities will not impose any quantitative restrictions on the exports of corn, reported the Deputy Minister for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture, Taras Vysotskyi.

According to the announcement, to date the majority of participants of the livestock industry in Ukraine does not face any deficit of the grain on the market. At the same time, possible imposition of the quantitative restrictions on the grain export will worsen the price situation on the domestic market.

Therefore, the Ministry decided to continue monitoring the dynamics of export shipments and the price situation on the Ukrainian corn market for several following weeks, without making any restrictions.
