In January-April of 2020, the traffic volumes of grains and its by-products by rail in Ukraine decreased by 10.5% compared with the same period last year, and totaled 13 mln tonnes, reported the State Statistics Service.
As for the transportation volumes of chemical and mineral fertilizers, in the reporting period the figures reduced by 8.3% — to 3 mln tonnes.
Generally, for the first four months of 2020 the Ukrainian Railway (JSC Ukrzaliznytsia) transported 96.8 mln tonnes of all types of cargoes, down 7.5% compared with the same period last year.
