As of July 7, Russian agrarians harvested grains and pulses throughout the areas of 3.9 mln ha. The production volumes reached 12.8 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 3.23 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
“In particular, agrarians harvested 9.4 mln tonnes of wheat throughout 2.9 mln ha, with the yield of 3.23 t/ha. Also, Russia harvested 2.1 mln tonnes of barley throughout 615 thsd ha, with the yield of 3.43 t/ha”, - was stated in the message.
Agrarians continued harvesting winter rapeseed, and as of July 7 the areas reached 78 thsd ha. The production volumes reached 149.8 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.92 t/ha.
As of the reporting data, the farmers of the Southern and North Caucasian Federal Districts as well as Saratov, Belgorod and Voronezh oblasts started the field works.
