The experts of Rusagrotrans JSC revised down their estimation of Russian grain export in July, 2020 to 3.4 mln tonnes from 3.5-4 mln tonnes forecasted in late June that would be lower than 4.76 mln tonnes exported in July, 2019 declared the Head of the analytical center at Rusagrotrans JSC, Igor Pavensky on July 27.

The downward revision of the forecast was caused by the delay of the harvesting campaign in the first half of the current month that led to the decline of grain supply.

“Nevertheless, the updated forecast is close to the average July export over the last five years”, - I.Pavensky added.

Moreover, he forecasted the shipments of Russian wheat at 2.79 mln tonens (3.98 mln tonnes in July, 2019), barley – 500 (546) thsd tonnes, corn – 100 (218) thsd tonnes.
