In the current year, the development of corn and the increment of herbage are delaying in Belarus compared to the preceding year, informed the Belhydromet on July 28.
“Currently, the heading of panicles is observed across the most of corn planting, in some places the flowering started. The leaf-formation is observed on the late-planted fields. The condition of corn is mostly good”, - was stated in the message.
The agrometeorologists forecasted lower than optimum temperatures in the short-term period.
