In June 2020, all types of agricultural organizations of the Russian Federation decreased the selling volumes of grain crops by 16.1% in comparison with the same month of 2019 — to 1.8 mln tonnes, reported the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat).
Nevertheless, in January-June the sales of grain crops increased by 21% compared to same period of 2019 – to 19.1 mln tonnes
Moreover, in June Russian agricultural organizations increased the sales of milk — up 5.3% to 1.5 mln tonnes, farm animals and poultry in live weight – by 10.2% to 1 mln tonnes, eggs — by 3% to 2.6 bln pcs.
Since the beginning of 2020 Russian agricultural organizations sold 5.9 mln tonnes of farm animals and poultry (up 5.3%), 8.7 mln tonnes of milk (up 7.1%), and 16.2 bln pcs. of eggs (up 1.6%).
