Traditionally, one of the key sections of #GMD is dedicated to maritime logistics. The main question of the section at GMD Conference 2020: Summer Edition will be “Where will we sail in 2021? And by what means?”

The maritime logistics is the indicator of the overall condition of Ukrainian grain market. Changes on the global and Ukrainian markets took its toll on the local shipping.

Changes affected freight rates in Black and Azov seas and had the direct influence on transshipment volumes in Ukrainian ports. At the same time, there is a surge of demand for vessels in the region meaning that ship owners are optimistic and are intend to deal with river transportation.

The tax innovations, that will surely affect the Ukrainian business, have the influence on the shipping as well. To make the future of Ukrainian businessmen clear, we will focus on the most important taxation matters within the section.
