In January-June period of 2020, the joint index of costs for production of agricultural commodities in Ukraine decreased by 6.2% compared with the same period of 2019, reported the State Statistics Service.
In particular, the costs for production of plant growing commodities lowered by 7.9% compared with the same period of 2019, and animal commodities — down 4%.
According to the statistics figures, for five months of 2020 the cost indices for materials and equipment of industrial origin used in agriculture, decreased by 11.7%.
In June 2020, the costs for production of agricultural commodities increased by 2% compared with the previous month, including the figures of plant growing commodities — up 2.2%, and animal commodities — up 1.5%. The costs for materials and equipment increased by 2.5%.
