According to the State Customs Service of Ukraine, the country exported 55.9 mln tonnes of main grain crops (wheat, corn and barley) in 2019/20 MY (July-June), up 15% compared to the previous season (48.7 mln tonnes). Wheat export almost reached 20.6 mln tonnes (37% of the total exported volume of main grains), barley - 5 mln tonnes (9%), corn - nearly 30.4 mln tonnes (54%).
There was a consolidation of external shipments in terms of exporting companies. According to APK-Inform, TOP-5 exporters shipped 31% of the total volume of 3 main grain crops in 2019/20 MY, compared to 25% in 2018/19 MY.
Kernel Group was the largest exporter with the share of 11.7%. Nibulon took the second position (7.5%) and ADM Trading Ukraine took the third place (4.3%). Louis Dreyfus Commodities Ukraine exported 3.8% of the total volume and Cofco Agri Resources Ukraine - 3.7%.
