As of September 22, Belarusian agrarians planted winter grains throughout 723.8 thsd ha or 50% of the planned areas (1.448 mln ha), declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus.
Belarusian agrarians harvested grains and pulses (excluding corn) throughout 2.156 mln ha or 99.4% of the planned areas. The production volumes reached 8.041 mln tonnes, with the average yield of 3.68 t/ha. Brest and Grodno oblasts completed the field works.
Farmers continue harvesting corn. They provided field works throughout 3.96 thsd ha or 1.6% of the planned areas (244.8 thsd ha) and the output reached 21.5 thsd tonnes, with the average yield of 5.44 t/ha.
Moreover, the farmers harvested buckwheat throughout 18.4 thsd ha or 73.3%, the output totaled 23.7 thsd tonnes, with the average yield of 1.29 t/ha. Millet was harvested throughout 6.07 thsd ha or 77.8%, the output totaled 12.7 thsd tonnes, with the average yield of 2.1 t/ha.
Additionally, spring rapeseed was harvested throughout 34.7 thsd ha or 90.6%, the output totaled 50.7 thsd tonnes, with the average yield of 1.46 t/ha.
