As of October 1, 2020, the registered carry-over stocks of oilseeds in Kazakhstan totaled 1.162 mln thsd tonnes. In particular, crop-growing organizations stored 592.35 thsd tonnes of oilseeds, farm households — 259.3 thsd tonnes, and fat-and-oil enterprises — 122 thsd tonnes, reported the Statistics Committee at the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan (KazStat).
Particularly, sunflower seed stocks in the country totaled 215.16 thsd tonnes (including food sunflower seed — 209.8 thsd tonnes), rapeseed — 195.1 thsd tonnes, flaxseed — 635.8 thsd tonnes, soybeans — 66.09 thsd tonnes, mustard seed — 14.1 thsd tonnes, safflower seed — 35.4 thsd tonnes, and camelina seed — 0.5 thsd tonnes.
As a reminder, as of July 1, 2020, the carry-over stocks of oilseeds in Kazakhstan totaled 583.53 thsd tonnes.
