According to regional divisions of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), since the beginning of the season-2020/21 (July 1), and as of October 20, Russia already exported 16.4 mln tonnes of wheat (including deliveries to the territory of the Customs Union countries), up 11% compared to the same period of the last year, reported the Federal State-Funded Institution "Federal Centre of Quality and Safety Assurance for Grain and Grain products".
Also, in the reporting period Russia exported 2.7 mln tonnes of barley (up 75% compared to the same period of the previous season), 391 thsd tonnes of corn, 363 thsd tonnes of peas (up 63%) and 204 thsd tonnes of wheat bran (up 18%).
Moreover, in October, Russia exported 19.5 thsd tonnes of rice for the first time in a long period.
In addition, Russia exported 432 thsd tonnes of soybeans (up 56%), 226 thsd tonnes of sunflower meal, 304 thsd tonnes of rapeseed (up 2 times), 194 thsd tonnes of sunflower seed (up 2 times) and 156 thsd tonnes of flaxseed (up 11%).
Generally, in the reporting period Russia supplied 22.1 mln tonnes of grains, oilseeds and its by-products on foreign markets (up 16%). This volume contained 20 mln tonnes of grains and pulses, including 19.5 mln tonnes of grains.
Russia shipped the reporting goods to 119 countries (123 countries the year ago).
