As of October 1, the general harvest of grains and pulses crops in Azerbaijan totaled 2.02 mln tonnes, a decrease of 9.7% compared with the last year, declared the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AzStat).

Also, agrarians decreased the production of sunflower seed — down 27.7%, to 24.4 thsd tonnes, while the harvest of sugar beet increased by 32.8% to 89.8 thsd tonnes.

“As of early October, most of region of the country have continued harvesting campaign of grain”, - was stated in the message.
