NC KTZ JSC extended the ban on loading of all types of cargoes to China through Dostyk and Alashankou stations introduced in November 23 until December 31.
The decision is based on continuous problems with transportation of Kazakh cargoes to China amid toughening of control measures for acceptance and transshipment of cargoes made by China in mid-November.
Market operators informed that there are more than 2’000 rail cars with Kazakh products waiting at the border, including about 1500 rail cars with food products.
