Ukraine cut soybean export by 40% in 2020

Ukraine exported 1.79 mln tonnes of soybean in 2020, down 40% compared to 2019, reported State Statistics Service.

Soybean export totaled 690 mln USD compared to 1.17 bln USD the last year.

Main destinations for Ukrainian soybean included Turkey - 588.7 thsd tonnes (222.69 mln USD), Belarus - 357.43 thsd tonnes (144.97 mln USD), Netherlands - 46.65 thsd tonnes (122.08 mln USD), Greece - 107.77 thsd tonnes (38.52 mln USD) and Egypt - 88.63 thsd tonnes (32.3 mln USD).
