For eleven months of 2020, Russia imported 1.87 mln tonnes of soybean at the general sum of 761.1 mln USD. The supplies decreased by 1.1% on weight basis compared with the same period in 2019, and up 3.3% in monetary terms, declared the Federal Customs Service of Russia.
In addition, in the reporting period the country imported 953.4 thsd tonnes of palm oil at the sum of 729.4 mln USD. The oilseed imports decreased by 1.5% on weight basis, and increased by 20.5% in monetary terms.
As for grain crops, in January-November of 2020 Russia imported 147.7 thsd tonnes of wheat and meslin (48.1 mln USD), as well as 46.6 thsd tonnes of corn (116.4 mln USD), and 45.7 thsd tonnes of barley (6.9 mln USD).
