According to APK-Inform, the prices of peas surged in Ukrainian seaports last week.
“Despite sharp depreciation of major grains n Ukrainian seaports, the prices of peas continued growing even faster. Reserved farmers’ selling and strong competition from processors supported the prices. Gradual decline of stocks pushed the prices up as well”, - the head of the local markets department of APK-Inform, Anna Tanskaya commented.
The bid prices of peas increased by 400-700 UAH/t last week and reached record 10000-11200 UAH/t CPT-port of February 15.
