Kazakhstan: export prices of wheat increased by 20% in 2020

In 2020, the prices of exported wheat increased by 19.6% compared with 2019, reported the Statistics Committee at the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan (KazStat).

Besides, the export prices of barley increased by 12.3%, wheat flour - by 10.4% and rice - by 7.9%.

As for the imported goods, the prices of poultry meat declined by 10.2% within the reporting period, while the prices of vegetable oil grew by 56.4%, margarines – by 14.9%, pasta - by 9.8%, sugar- by 6.3%, dairy - by 2.5%.

Generally, the prices of exported goods declined by 7.7% in 2020, while the prices of imported products increased by 5.4%.
