Since the start of 2021 and as of February 21, Russia exported agricultural products at the general sum of 3.7 bln USD, up 41% compared to the same period of 2020, informed Agroexport Center at the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
Particularly, Russia increased export of grain by 2.1 times to 1.6 bln USD, meat and dairy by 38% to 122 mln USD, fat&oil products by 9% to 605 mln USD, other agricultural products by 78% to 658 mln USD. At the same time, export of products of food and processing industry decreased by 5% to 300 mln USD.
China was the leading importer of Russian agricultural products. It increased import of Russian products by 39% to 700 mln USD. Supplies to Turkey grew by 42% to 564 mln USD, to Egypt by 52% to 393 mln USD, EU by 7% to 386 mln USD, South Korea by 71% to 235 mln USD.
