Production of grains (including rice) and pulses increased by 15.1% to 20.065 mln tonnes in weight after processing in Kazakhstan in 2020 compared to 2019, reported Bureau of National Statistics.
The growth of production was based on the extension of planted area under grains by 3.1% to 15.878 mln ha and the increase of their average yield by 12.3% to 1.28 t/ha.
