According to regional divisions of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), since the beginning of the season-2020/21 (July 1), and as of February 25, Russia already exported 33.8 mln tonnes of wheat (including deliveries to the territory of the Customs Union countries), up 32% compared to the same period of the last year, reported the Federal State-Funded Institution "Federal Centre of Quality and Safety Assurance for Grain".
Also, in the reporting period Russia exported 4.4 mln tonnes of barley (up 48% compared to the same period of the previous season), 1.7 mln tonnes of corn, 0.6 mln tonnes of peas (up 45%) and 0.5 mln tonnes of wheat bran.
In addition, Russia exported 0.9 mln tonnes of soybeans (up 9%), 0.9 mln tonnes of sunflower meal, 0.5 mln tonnes of rapeseed (up 46%), 0.6 mln tonnes of sunflower seed and 0.4 mln tonnes of flaxseed.
Generally, in the reporting period Russia supplied 46.2 mln tonnes of grains, oilseeds and its by-products on foreign markets (up 24%). This volume contained 40.9 mln tonnes of grains and pulses, including 40.1 mln tonnes of grains.
Russia shipped the reporting goods to 131 countries as same as the year ago.
