In January-February of 2021, Russian Railways increased the volumes of loading of grain cargoes by 1.5 times compared with the same period last year to 5.2 mln tonnes, reported the press-service of the company.
As for the transportation volumes of chemical and mineral fertilizers, in the reporting period the figures increased by 6.5% to 10.8 mln tonnes.
Generally, for the first two months of 2021 the Russian Railways transported 197.8 mln tonnes of all types of cargoes, down 0.9% compared with the same period last year.
