Ukrainian grain export almost reached 760 mln USD in February

Ukrainian exports totaled 4.55 bln USD in February, up by 14.8% compared to the result of the same month the year ago and up by 15.8% compared to January 2020, declared the Deputy Minister for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine, Taras Kachka.

“Export of grain totaled 759 mln USD. Egypt, China and Spain were the main destinations. Export of oil reached 587 mln USD (+12.2% to February 2019 and +14.3% to January 2020). India and the Netherlands increased import of Ukrainian oil, while shipments to China decreased slightly. Export of meal grew by 25.7% in February to 169 mln USD. Supplies to France and China increased”, - he said.

Overall, Ukrainian export to the EU totaled 1.97 bln USD in February, up by 27.9% compared to the year ago. Shipments to Asia grew by 17.4% to 1.48 bln USD, while supplies to the CIS countries declined by 12.3% to 461 mln USD.
