Higher export duties on corn and barley in force in Russia

Since March 15, higher export duties on corn and barley have come into force in Russia. They were implemented by the governmental decree No33 as of January 23.

The export duty on corn is 25 EUR/t and the export duty on barley is 10 EUR/t from March 15 until June 30, 2021. Besides, the export duty on wheat is 50 EUR/t from March 1 until June 30.

These taxes are implemented for export within tariff quota set at the volume of 17.5 mln tonnes. The export of grains out of quota is subject to 50% export duty but not less than 100 EUR/t.

The duties do not cover supplies to the Customs Union.
