According to preliminary estimate, Russia exported about 2.55 mln tonnes of grains in March, down by 35% compared to the same month of 2020 (3.9 mln tonnes), said Head of the analytical center at Rusagrotrans JSC, Igor Pavensky.

“Wheat export decreased the most to 0.9 mln tonnes compared to 3.07 mln tonnes in March 2020. At the same time, export of barley and corn increased slightly to 0.68 (0.25) mln tonnes and 0.92 (0.27) mln tonnes correspondingly”, - the export said.

Rusagrotrans JSC revised up its forecast of Russian grain export from 1.36 mln tonnes to 1.6 mln tonnes in April, including 0.85 mln tonnes of wheat, 0.4 mln tonnes of barley and 0.33 mln tonnes of corn.
