According to regional divisions of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), since the beginning of the season-2020/21 (July 1), and as of April 8, Russia already exported 35.5 mln tonnes of wheat (including deliveries to the territory of the Customs Union countries), up 20% compared to the same period of the last year, reported the Federal State-Funded Institution "Federal Centre of Quality and Safety Assurance for Grain".
Also, in the reporting period Russia exported 5.4 mln tonnes of barley (up 60% compared to the same period of the previous season), 2.8 mln tonnes of corn, 0.7 mln tonnes of peas (up 39%) and 0.6 mln tonnes of wheat bran (up 9%).
In addition, Russia exported 1 mln tonnes of soybeans, 1.2 mln tonnes of sunflower meal, 0.6 mln tonnes of rapeseed (up 44%), 0.6 mln tonnes of sunflower seed and 0.5 mln tonnes of flaxseed (up 8%).
Generally, in the reporting period Russia supplied 51.2 mln tonnes of grains, oilseeds and its by-products on foreign markets (up 16%). This volume contained 45 mln tonnes of grains and pulses, including 44 mln tonnes of grains.
Russia shipped the reporting goods to 134 countries (132 countries the year ago).
