Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus temporary bans export of the main grains. The decision was state in the decree of the Council No.221 as of April 14 and was published on April 15. It will remain in force for 3 months.

Belarus bans export of wheat and meslin, rye, barley, oats, corn, buckwheat, millet, triticale, other cereals. The ban will apply to the export of grain to the EAEU, regardless of their country of origin, as well as to the export outside the EAEU customs territory when these goods are placed under the customs procedures of export, temporary export, processing outside the customs territory and re-export.

The ban will not apply to export of grain as humanitarian aid or transit.
