As of mid-April, farmers of 4 southern oblasts of Kazakhstan (Almaty, Jambyl, Turkistan and Kyzylorda) have started spring planting campaign, informed the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture.
As of April 13, farmers planted grains and pulses throughout 218.5 thsd ha and oilseeds throughout 18.6 thsd ha.
“Mass planting campaign will start in mid-May in Kazakhstan”, - the message said.
